Established in 1991, Bell Wine Cellars is a small, family owned winery committed to hand-crafting limited edition bottling of extraordinary wines. We're less than a mile south of Yountville on Washington Street, in an exquisite pale stone winery, surrounded by vineyard and cloaked in quiet. If you enjoy Cabernet, you'll enjoy Bell. We make six different Cabernets as well as Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah; total production is under 15,000 cases annually. Nestled between the towering stainless steel tanks, guests can taste our signature wines at the intimate, elegant Tasting Bar. We also host more extensive educational tastings in our lovely, enclosed Reserve Room overlooking the barrels. During much of the year, our spacious Patio is also open for tasting appointments, under the arbor as the sun slowly arcs toward the Mayacamas to the west.Come visit and taste what Anthony Bell, a globally educated winemaker with over 35 years of experience in Napa, can produce. We guarantee you'll leave speaking Cabernet fluently, and with a smile.

We loved our tour and tasting at Bell Wine Cellars. Maggie was our hostess for the tasting, which was just my husband and myself. We sat outside on a beautiful day, overlooking the vineyard. Maggie was very knowledgeable about the wines and the vineyard. We even met the owner, who is from South Africa. He was a very humble man,... More

First trip to Ca. and this was our first tasting. We had a private tasting with Joe. He was great and so was the wine. We bought a bottle of the red and enjoyed it later in the week. The pairing with the cheese was great too. I could get used to these visits. Fl. Donna :>)

This was our first stop on our tour of Napa's wine country, and we loved our tasting experience and tour with Maggie at Bell Wine Cellars. She had incredible knowledge about wine, and we left feeling much more knowledgable and ready to tackle Napa. Signed up for their wine club and also purchased a few bottles, and we are really... My husband came to Napa on our honeymoon and we visited Bell and did the Wine and cheese pairing. Melanie was our host and she was absolutely incredible! I felt like we were all best buddies by the end of the tour. She was very knowledgeable but also very friendly and patient with us as we asked questions. The wines... More

My wife and I stopped here as our first stop off a full day with a driver. We took the tour and did a tasting here. The tour/hostess was very knowledgeable about the winery and their approach, as well as general approaches and some history of the Napa Valley itself. The setting was beautiful and the wine was great! We... More

While our first visit was lackluster due to some unusual circumstances, this visit certainly made up for it. It's clear Bell is meticulous with their wines and if you enjoy bold, interesting reds, it's definitely worth a stop.

We recently had some time in the NAPA Valley to enjoy some wine and learn about wine making. There are a number of very prominent wineries and some smaller wineries. Bells is a smaller winery but very well done and the wine is excellent. Our hostess was Maggie who was wonderful. We pressed her on some of the technical aspects... More

Maggie gave us a private tasting and tour of vineyard and winery. So knowledgable and enthusiastic. Great wine. Had lunch on patio overlooking vineyard. Arranged by Stan Knight Wine Tours who introduced us to owner Anthony Bell. Highlight of Napa trip.

Interesting place. The tasting area is right in the middle of the area where they are filling the barrels. The tasting was good but the presenter lacked the enthusiasm for her products that I saw at other wineries. Other than that, nice stop.
