Nice park with hiking trails

This is a really nice park with great hiking trails with switchbacks; moderate to challenging hikes; there is a fee to enter the park

Huddart is a beautiful park with many trails to take, big expanses of grassy areas, a playground and picnic areas galore. You could spend the day there easily. Absolutely gorgeous Redwoods!

We arrived at the park entrance around 8:15am on a Sunday and there were plenty of parking spaces. The park opens at 8am and the entrance fee is $6 per car. We parked in the Zwierlein picnic area, where there are restroom facilities. There are about a dozen restroom facilities on the Huddart Park map and most of them are... More

Since everyone else is writing about the hiking trails I have to stay that simply driving up and down Kings Mountain Road and Skyline Boulevard in a nicely capable sports car is a joy all its own! Put the top down if you can and enjoy the surreal and magical landscape and canopy overhead. Really a special place and worth... More

The distances varies from map to the signs and it's hard to figure out where the trails start. The signage is not precise enough and if you are a novice you can probably get lost in the maze of trails. The woods are beautiful and lots of redwoods and gorgeous.

We enjoyed half a day walking in the forest like park, on trails and using clues to find destinations. Its a great place for team activities as well as for a family picnic. The only downside was a lot of horse poop on the trails.

This is a great spot- in the heart of Silicon Valley (10 min from Stanford, Sand Hill Road, etc.) is the Town of Woodside which feels like you are deep in the woods and a bit a part of the old west. Huddart park is a great place to hike/walk amongst the flora and fauna- amazing trees, streams, places to... More

Huddart Park is located in San Mateo County, South of San Francisco. One of the Bay Area's many parks, Huddart has picnic tables and trails for a relaxing barbecue. It also has a few varities of hikes the park brochure is available online and has options for novice to experienced hikers. BAhiker.com provides details on a nice 4.4 loop.
