We had lunch and played for an hour before going to the library! It was a great little stop to spend some time on a pretty day!

Just a park in downtown. I park here and walk to the library or to a restaurant. There are always young mothers with there children play in the playground and some kind of sports fields across the creek. Nice shade trees on a hot summer...More

Walnut Creek is hardly a town any longer, except you can walk the most exceptional portion of the city and get small town friendliness, from the Civic Park which is across from City Hall, next to a beautiful library that features art exhibits, movie showings,...More

Nothing special, but it's always goog to have a park in a densely-developed area. Could use a better design.

A small park by American standards all well kept well laid out , never overcrowded . Its a good place to go with the children safe and relaxing not too far from the city centre.

We stopped by here on a long road trip to let our kids blow off some steam. It's a busy park, but very beautiful. We were there on an overcast day but there were many big trees for shade if it were sunny. The playground...More

It's not Golden Gate Park in the City. It's a small park in a busy city that offers some shade on sunny days and a playground for young kids. It's also convenient to a multitude of stores/restaurants. There is an ice rink in the winter....More

This is where all parents in the area end up taking kids. Good and safe playground, a lot of shady trees for hot days, close to a library where you can read some stories, right in the heart of the town.
