This little museum is near a beautiful park with walking paths and playgrounds. We first encountered a turkey vulture outside and the gal answered questions about her. Going inside, we enjoyed the exhibits explaining various features of raptors. The best part, of course, is the...More

Lots of educational programs and different animals displayed up close and personal through out the day. Great way to get the kids used to a small "museum" setting before attempting anything larger. They also have a wildlife hospital and take in injured native animals. Always...More

I love this place because we can take found and or injured wildlife to them to care. They even let you know what happens to them

My son wanted to go there every Friday since he was 2 years old. Each time we went, he found something new to explore. We even went on the days they had special animal exhibits. We still talk about the vulture outside. It's a shame...More

A nice place to get up close with a variety of live raptor species, including various hawks, eagles and owls. Most of these birds have some disability meaning they stay in the care of Lindsay indefinitely. The displays for many of these include the backstory...More

Great opportunity to get close to many native animals. Many birds of prey species; eagles, hawks, owls, vultures & more. I know it's for kids but still found it noisy. Porcupine and possum were cool to see. Many other activities and things for kids to...More

I used to be a big supporter of this organization... until they screwed me over at their fund raising auction. I had bid the "buy it now" price on several wines. After the auction terminated the auctioneer went around and got people to outbid me!...More

This museum is small, but their exhibits are great and the speakers are very knowledgeable. They are great with kids and patiently answer all questions. They help save all sick and injured animals from the local areas.

They are small enough that they don't pre-sell admissions. You would have to fund them through traditional methods!!! But I love your interest in Lindsay and I have to tell you I volunteer there as a docent and love it... More

There is a turkey vulture outside at the very front, but everything else is inside. It would be a wonderful place to spend a rainy day!
