Love this mountain! Best resort on the lake. The staff are super helpful and friendly and it's a much more personal vibe than other resorts. Tree skiing is all time when the snows on and the pipe is super fun!

Now retired, I've been coming here since the 80's. I now get the season pass and season rental so I do not have to lug equipment around. I'm not the greatest skier but I like the service and attitude of the people who work here. As for culture, some of the workers and skiers are from around the world, so... More

Been going here for three years ... great place to take the kids for ski school. There is sledding, but honestly bring your youngsters sand toys, and they can play next to the solstice bar while you drink. And they parents dilemma pass let's you trade off skiing throughout the day But Tony ... he's the bomb Also, do their... More

We were at Sierra at Tahoe March, 2017 for some late season skiing/boarding. My 2 young boys are lower intermediate boarders and i would say i'm an advanced beginner skier.... We all had a blast! Sierra is one of the more reasonably priced ski resorts in the Tahoe area... And it looked like mostly everyone else on the slopes were... More

I rode last Friday and Saturday with a buddy who usually rides at Alpine. Before his first run he was knocking Sierra because he thought it was a small mountain. After several powder tree runs by Castle and preachers passion, I had him hooked! even on Saturday the line for the quad lift was not unbearable long. We had an... More

My grandma used to say “If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all.” So I typically write reviews only when I have nice things to say. However, I think it’s important to write this review so that people in a similar situation to mine would know this and plan accordingly. We went skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe this past... More

Visited the resort with our kids for Spring Break ski trip. We have traveled East/West and CO resorts and really enjoyed this one. Good rental equipment and very helpful staff. No lines at the lifts and good mix of runs. Kids could ski several good runs from the top of the mountain and not restricted to short beginner runs. Reasonably... More

My son and I had a nice time skiing here last week. The snow was perfect. My gripe was that the kid checking lift tickets at the bunny hill was so rude and unhelpful with my son who is a first time boarder. He was annoyed that my son's lift ticket fell off his jacket and I asked the kid... More

My children have attended Ski School at Sierra at Tahoe about 5 times now. They love it. The instructors are so patient and make the lessons fun. When my daughter got complacent the instructor creatively challenged her to stretch her skills. They offer both Ski and Snowboarding. I was also able to get my little baby a ski pass as... More
