I enjoyed my stop at Carnegie Arts Center, where I saw two exhibits: one on Yosemite (free) and one of Matt Elson's "Infinity Boxes." ($8). According to the Arts Center Literature, the exhibits change and the center also offers dance, lectures, and other forms of entertainment. The receptionist was friendly and opened the small gift shop for us.

Ansel Adams son spoke during the Adams display. European art has been on display. There are international folk dance lessons on Friday nights for $5. The meeting room has a great floor that can be used for dancing. The builders merged the new building with the old very well - and - left the smoke damage on the brick at... More

This is a beautiful building and we'll set up to walk through and enjoy the exhibits. The area for kids plays is intimate that allows for a close up experience for my grandkids.

My company recently hosted a meeting event here and the building is absolutely beautiful. They offer large and small locations throughout the building and staff was wonderful to work with, very historic and supported by the community so its kept spotless. Will definitely book here again.

This was a really neat story we visited because George Lynch the famous guitar designer was staying at the same Fairfield Inn we were due to our house repairs . We met and talked to him and he told us about the Guitar show featuring his guitars. So we went to our own hometown Carnegie Center and saw this cool... More

Nice building. Great art. It would have been better if there was more parking. My daughter has ballet practice on the 2nd floor so they get big points for hosting that.

Hi William -- We are glad you enjoy the art while your daughter is taking ballet class. Free parking around the building includes using the Police Department lot on Broadway or the lot behind the art center(on Florence Street). If street spots are all taken (and they sometimes are), check out the two parking lots. More

We love coming for there ever changing art exhibits. they also have a nice gift store. They always have different venues to attend each month. Find them online for schedule of events. The Carnegie Art Center is really a beautiful place to go and spend some time browsing through it.

A great presentation of Mucha's gorgeous works. There might have been 40+ prints there and very interesting and easily read commentary. We went on the first Friday of the month so it was free! Such a deal. This exhibit was, to me, the best.

This art museum is small and can be viewed in about one hour. The exhibit was first rate. The facility is only five years old, so everything looks new. We considered joining as members because it is such a delightful place. However, we do not live nearby. The place is surrounded by free parking. Admission was $10 regular or $8... More
