The old men who work there are the rudest most pretentious course staff that I have ever encountered. These types are what gives golf a bad name. If you're a snob this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid it like the plague

Played this course for first time in July 2017 at 10am. Used a coupon so rate was $55. Front nine has wide fairways and fairly flay. Back nine has narrow fairways and hilly. Good value with a discount. Friendly staff and decent food. Be prepared...More

We played 5 different courses this trip and Northstar surprised me by being the most fun. Friendly staff, very good conditions, quick pace of play, fair price. Some local knowledge that I did not have would have been helpful on couple holes. I'll be back...More

I have to repeat what everyone has said: the front 9 and back 9 are totally different. The front 9 is very playable. Several of the holes on the back 9 require a layup before trying to go over a ravine which can be difficult...More

we play this course on the way to Lake Tahoe. The two 9's are a different as can be. The front is flat and the back 9 is mountainous. The back is more challenging with blind shots with severe elevation changes.

18 holes in North Tahoe area. Very reasonably priced for the area. Golf comes with cart. Front nine pretty wide open and flat. The back nine has more trees and the fairways are narrower than the front nine. Like playing two different golf courses. Course...More

North Star's golf course was a little on the shorter side (less than 6k from the whites) but was well maintained with a friendly staff. It's easy to walk or cart - our twosome did it in 3:50 on a Sunday morning walking (though warning,...More

Played at Northstar and likes that they meted you at curbside and loaded you clubs on a golf cart. Checking in was easy, and efficient. The first 9 are wide open holes and the back 9 are treed with houses . The green were fast...More

Beautiful, open front nine that is mostly flat and dry. The back nine is in the pines with streams and ponds, many bunkers with steep grades. The course is challenging and very well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great golf outing!
