Private Tour was Wonderful

We found that this winery has the only wine cave in Southern California which is a plus in Temecula which can get a little warm. Maybe it was the tour we took, but there was almost no pressure to join their wine club as we had experienced in many of the other wineries we visited. Oddly enough, we enjoyed the... More

Visited here a couple of times with friends. Found the wine to be "ok" and the prices quite high. However, the cave wine tasting room was really cool. Great views and cool location but probably wouldn't spend any more money on the wine.

My husband and I have been to Temecula quite a few times but usually go to the same places, so we chose to try a new place. Such a great decision! Not only did we really enjoy all the wines, but Kathie was such a good cave tour guide. She is personable, informative, and very well-versed on all things vino.... More

Arrived well before our scheduled “Tasting Tour” time. The winery sales office and “cave” is located in the midst of many small hill side vineyards. All the vineyards were in “first leaf.” Lots of pretty views from the patio. We decided to have lunch while we waited. Donna ordered “soup of the day” and I settled on a “California Club”... More

Had a great time. Had lunch on patio. Great view and the help is great. Dog friendly also. Has a very good meat and cheese board. Good for 2 to 4 people. Will be back again. Did not try wine tasting since we had dog.

On a recent girls trip to San Diego, we did a private wine tour and this is one of the wineries we chose to go to. The main reason we chose this winery was because it is the only one in the area with a cave. We were there on a Saturday and it wasn't until we got there that... More

This decade old winery is located of Portola Road overlooking the valley. Wine-tasting takes place inside a cave where the winery stores its barrels. Unique in this part of the country. Great atmosphere, good wines and excellent food.

We had a great time here. The owner and all the staff make you feel so at home. They had some great vocal jazz/swing entertainment when we were there and it was a real great atmosphere. Food was delicious and great wine - and the view was stunning! Can't wait to go back! You can even take a trolley, if... More

The wines here are fantastic! My favorite is the Dominique but they have some wines with grapes I had never heard of before and they are very good. The grounds are beautiful and I appreciate the flexibility of their wine club.

A fun wine tour. The cave is not only special for Temecula, but a beautiful plus. Enjoyed their wines, but skip the cheese and meat add on, pretty mediocre. My wife and I have been to several wine tours, but we learned so much more on this one. Thank you Kathie, you are a true professional.
