We drove up to Temecula for the Sunday brunch at the Wilson Creek winery, a first-time experience. The food was outstanding and the service was second to none. The brunch was outstanding several different stations with an unbelievable variety of food. We then went to the building that housed the wine tasting events. It has an unbelievable selection of wines... More

Enjoyed everything about this special place. Love the back story about how Wilson family got in to the business. Had lunch at restaurant. Our waiter Joey was friendly and knowledgeable. Started us off with complimentary tasting of signature almond sparkling wine. One of a kind and pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and so was the glass of reserve Syrah we... More

We visited Wilson Creek during the holidays. It is a beautiful sprawling property. There's a lot to see indoors -- where the tasting stations are located and outdoors -- where you can walk through the vineyards, seating on the grounds and to the restaurant. We really enjoyed the restaurant's open air design -- yummy burger. Known for their flavored sparkling... More

Loved the ambiance and back of the house tour. The winery intel was fun to learn and well done. The wine itself was not my favorite in Temecula but it's a good place to stop for lunch and a tasting together.

Great place to relax, white tents on the grounds for wedding parties. This was one of the handful of original wineries in Temecula before it exploded.

For those who expect Napa quality wines in Temecula, get over it. They just don't exist. However, if you're looking for a large place, plenty of indoor and outdoor room and seating, shaded canopies, a very lovely outdoor picnic/play area (great for families), and decent food, this winery is great. I would say it's more of a group or family... More

Those who review this place and say that it compares with Napa or Sonoma must be shills. They don't appear to actually make wine here or even grow the grapes. You have to stand in line and have your ID processed even to get in as if you were going through immigration. The wine is sickeningly sweet, even the reds.... More

This first-class winery is the place to go for some delicious tastes in the tasting room or a delightful meal in a room filled with ambiance. I have visited almost all the wineries in Napa/Sonoma, and Wilson Creek is right up there with the best of them. I especially enjoy coming here when all the beautiful flowers are in bloom.... More

Maybe I'm jaded having traveled here from Oregon where we enjoy exceptional wines and a very low-key tasting atmosphere in the Willamette Valley. In fact, I found Wilson Creek Winery, and Temecula in general, to be the antithesis of what we experience back home. We visited Wilson Creek Winery on a drizzly Sunday afternoon in November. The place was packed.... More
