River was little rocky in spots- some spots were very shallow could walk across. Was relaxing and nice. We were on the river Friday 9/1/17- morning- Not too many people. But we heard weekend was booked all three days. People coming up to cooler weather.

Yes, a ten year old can raft the river with Truckee River Rafting! Must be with an adult though.
