We have seen several shows at SRT, none of them have disappointing us. Quality actors and production make this a gem in the foothills. My family saw Wicked in San Francisco earlier this year and the feedback from my children was "SRT is just as good - they just had more money in their budget to do the flashy stuff".

We travel from the Bay Area to see plays and musicals here a few times each year. The setting is small and no bad seats in the house. The talent is always unbelievable. Definitely worth the trip!!!!

We just saw the musical Beehive and it was excellent! Can't say enough about it. The gals were terrific dancers and singers and it was very upbeat and fun. I would rate it 10 stars if I could! Definitely see it if you have the chance.

Another great musical and afternoon of dancing and singing in our seats. These 6 ladies kept us enjoying the musics and brought back memories of the 1960's.

Wow, these girls did a great job on this musical! They put it all out there. A great mix of humor and reality of the times. We went opening night and had a great time. This is a very professionally run theatre. They take all aspects very seriously and it shows in the production. This is only our second visit,... More

Beehive, currently running in East Sonora, is a toe-tapping, clap-your-hands, sing along to music from the 60's and 70's. Six incredibly talented ladies are guaranteed to have you dancing in your seat from beginning to end. We love SRT and this might be right up there in the top 5 ever.

This was the first-time anyone in our two-couple group had attended a performance in the Fallon House Theatre, and we weren't disappointed. Located in Columbia, CA State Historic Park, this 274 seat theater is entered through a narrow hallway in the back of an ice cream store (great intermission snack opportunity.) This Rogers and Hammerstein play was performed brilliantly by... More

Regional theater is a great way to spend an evening with family during travel - Sonora was a border-town stop for us when traveling to Yosemite. Through song, dance and acting - State Fair delivers a message of middle America values, tradition, history and pride in work and family. Not many places where this type of uplifting family entertainment can... More

What a fantastic performance. State Fair was the best yet. Even better than the music man, and even better than Mary Poppins. Every set change was flawless, every song and dance number seemed effortless. I did not expect this calibur production. Great job and Bravo to to Hallie Brevetti (Margy), Kaitlyn Brennan (Eleanor) Jerry Lee (Pat), Gary Martinez (Abel), Melissa... More
