Established in 1980, Schug Carneros Estate Winery produces wines nuanced with tradition and elegance, led by the vision of Axel Schug and Sonoma born winemaker Michael Cox. The winery was established to produce graceful and elegant Pinot Noirs from Sonoma's celebrated hills of Carneros. Winemaker Michael Cox joined the winery in 1995 and is now dedicated to continuing founder Walter Schug's long legacy of crafting world class wines.

Had a great tasting with Tom who knew a lot about the vineyard. The tasting room was a little small but I really liked the Chardonnay and the Pinot Noir Reserve.

We got here late in the day and our driver pretty much had to beg them to take us. Wines were good, especially the dessert wine but they were clearly done & ready for everyone to leave. Maybe hit this one early in the day...More
