Ram's Gate Winery embodies the convergence of great wine, design and hospitality. Situated at the historic gateway to the Carneros region, Ram's Gate was created with the belief that in a world obsessed with making things faster, where speed is valued above all else, a delicious wine is the way to press pause - to savor and enjoy what we love most. Amidst sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards, we offer a portfolio of estate and single vineyard wines made from the grapes of the region's marquee vineyards. A great venue for a relaxed and unpretentious wine experience. By appointment only, so plan ahead. Highly recommend the Estate Picnic for a memorable afternoon. Great wine selection as well.

We had the good fortune of finding Ram's Gate a few years ago while traveling through the Sonoma area. We purchased 3 bottles of chardonnay at that time and I was instantly a fan. We are experienced wine connoisseurs and I feel they make the...More

This place is lame. They don't allow you to purchase and drink a bottle of wine at their own bar. Instead, they attempt to force their customers to buy a $40 flight of wine. That's absurd. There are dozens of wineries within a short drive...More

From the beautiful outdoor space overlooking the vineyards to the delicious charcuterie board, we enjoyed the hours wiled away there. The staff here needs to get over themselves. The staff is exceptionally rude and not helpful. Only go here if you are looking for bad vibes and wine that tastes like it came from a box.

Is it really the gateway to Sonoma? I don't know, but it certainly felt like it because of its proximity to San Francisco and the fact that it was the very first winery we visited. Ram’s Gate Winery is just an hour outside of SF...More

Even though we had an appointment we were denied a seating. When the manager was asked about why we were not allowed to come into the winery he didn't have answer other than "it's a tough call". The views looked amazing and the manager tied...More
