Sonoma Valley is a beautiful area, full of fun wineries and hidden gems! It is far less pretentious than its sister Napa. Check out Trentadue - just beautiful!

Highway 12 goes through some of the most picturesque country in California. Winery after winery with hills cover with vines in neat rows stretch before you. Definitely worth the drive.

We did the same, suggest you visit Francis Ford Coppola, Del Dotto and Castello di Amorosa These are the "big 3" for wow factor, possibly add Domaine Carneros.

We stayed in an Airbnb just outside the city. Beautiful view of the valley and vineyard next door. Local host with good suggestions for the area. Quiet relaxing option
