A great local park with slides, swings and lots of room to run around. An open field offers easy access to soccer and has a walking path around it for exercise enthusiasts. Plenty of parking and located just north of Highway 246 and Santa Ynez just outside Solvang proper.

This is a fabulous, community build and maintained park with tons of options for kids to run, explore, climb and imagine. Kids tend to find playmates, even if they come alone. The only drawback is that the slides can get too hot to use, and the location itself tends to be too hot to be comfortable for half the year.... More

This park is a kid's dream. Lots of places to explore in the structures built like castles. There are the traditional playground swings, slides, etc. but there is something magical here. Bring a picnic and watch the kids explore and have a blast. Best value in town for families as its free.

Wide open spaces, several large and elaborate play structures, barbeque areas, tables, rest rooms, baseball and soccer fields -- this is a great park with all the amenities.

Came to this park with our two children, 2.5 and 4, and our nephews, 5 and 9. All 4 kids loved it. There's something for every aged kid here. The playground is kind of Old World castle themed and is really well built and designed. Lots of places for hide and seek, swings, different balance/climbing challenges, slides. This playground really... More
