This park on ample grounds is bursting with wildlife. We saw a quail?? family foraging up close, plenty of deer and hawks over head. The trail to the falls is shorter than expected, only 15-20 minute easy walk from the trail head. In late June...More

Lovely way to start the day on a clear June morning. The hike is only about 400m and a gradual climb. The falls are pretty unique. Plenty of parking spaces and picnic tables. Would be a nice place for lunch. With the Alisal Rd closed...More

After a short 10 minute walk slightly uphill you will be rewarded with a beautiful (approx fifty foot) waterfall ...as long as mother nature cooperates..

I cannot believe I have been in the area quite a few times in my life, and I never knew about this place. Be careful when using social media navigational tools and coming from the south. Luckily we were in a tiny car that could...More

With all the rain California received earlier in the year we were hoping to visit the park and falls during our weekend trip to the area, however, as we made our way to the park, there was a sign indicated that the roads were closed...More

You can enter the park from one of two directions....the first is off the 101 freeway a few miles south of the Solvang/Buellton exit. Or my favorite way is at the east end of Solvang on S Alisal Ranch Road. From this direction you drive...More

This is a nice but not too exciting waterfall. Considering that there are very few waterfalls at all in Southern California, we take what we can get. It is located in a nice park near Buellton and Solvang. While there are entrances from both towns,...More

Nojoqui Falls is located up a winding trail at the east end of the park. The falls are seasonal. When the creek along the trail is running so are the falls. The falls are quiet impressive after recent rain. The park is a wonderful family...More

The park is very nice, there is a big area with picnic tables and places for BBQ at the beginning. You can't to get actually near the waterfall because of some construction work there, but you can see it close enough. Really lovely hiking trail

As of today 1/24/16, the trail is closed due to a mudslide. I wouldn't count on them opening it by next weekend, but check with the Park Admin later in the week. (805) 568-2461
