Just happened upon this district Sunday morning. Wineries open 11 am on. Farmers market starts at 1 pm. Many varied and unique shops for clothes, home, salon, art galleries and consignment. Lots to explore. No chains, just very different and original stores.

There are probably over 2 dozen really cool stores on this street, including nick knacks, unique furniture, antiques, pets, plants, woodworks, books, etc. Very eclectic, very cool. One could easily spend several hours checking out all the stuff. The only downside is that there are only one or two places to eat on the street, but plenty within a few... More

A two or three block shopping area of small shops and restaurants. Easy parking and a little bit of everything offered.

Many little shops within bigger shops with everything you could think of. Found a lot of Christmas presents.

I believe this street was once THE place to go if you were decorating or designing a home. I think that is still true to some extent as there are still several stores specializing in high end flooring, art, etc. The trend, however, seems to have moved toward the street housing a number of "artisan consignment shops" (Leaping Lotus, etc.)... This is a great artistic community. There are great galleries, shopping, and food, for everyone and for every taste. A great are to stroll around and find a nice gift, souvenir, to eat , or drink. This area display the neighborhood vibe and atmosphere. If you walk around on Sunday afternoon, please visit the Farmers Market, you will enjoy it.

I recently had an artist friend visit me from another country and I took her to the Cedros Design district, this area has changed and I was embarrassed to say the least, many of the eclectic and high quality art galleries that had featured local artists are gone, the wonderful garden center is gone, there are a couple shops worth... Lots of ways to find the perfect something to fill those empty spaces in your home. Not so good for girls who want to have lunch and find cute boutique shops. It has some but not as many as I'd like.

Wanted to escape the crowded beaches of Memorial Day, so we went here instead. Liked it a lot. Very easy walking distance from the train (Coaster) station; highly recommend this route as most parking has a 3 hour limit. Nice variety of shops: boutiques for fashionistas, antiques for the treasure hunters and home interiors for nesters. Also variety of price... More

Upscale hip beach feel shopping & self-care. Can't do better than Deco Hair Studio for a make-over. Thom a senior stylist is EXPERT in color, repairs and new cuts! Great shops of all kinds.
