I usually have a very limited attention span for this type of thing but I could have sat and watched this guy for hours. He's amazing. No pushing for money either. Stop and appreciate his work if you get a chance.

Easy to find and free, this unique spot in Sausalito is photogenic and fun. Just walk down the street where all the action is near the water and you're sure to find it.

I didn't realize that this is a regular Sausalito site (event?). We were walking by on the waterfront and a guy was balancing rocks. As he had a camera - and the bay and San Francisco were in the distance - he seemed to be...More

We watched this man stack/balance rocks along the shore as we ate breakfast across the street. At first, I thought he just happened by and stacked some, but then realized he was entertaining folks walking by and continued to build and build little balancing rock...More

We were staying in Sausalito and literally stumbled upon them off the edge of the waterfront. No description would do this site justice. It's remarkable. Don't misunderstand, this is not a destination type attraction, but if you are out walking around, look for them.

I'm not sure what to say. There are rocks balanced precariously on top of one another here along the walkway. They're worth a look, but what else are you going to do? Maybe snap a quick pick since it's interesting for a minute. Then you...More

This guy is AMAZING!! How he came up with this I'll never know, but I love the fact that he works on the rocky shoreline (in Sausalito near the main walkway), where no one else could do what he does, and he just builds his...More

We were not aware of when Mr. Dan balances. Clearly, some may not withstand the incoming tide, so I would imagine for the number we saw, he does do it somewhat regularly. The visitors bureau maybe could tell you.
