Quick off season visit

Beautiful gardens and short hiking trails. Not the best for those with knee problems or handicapped. Was beautiful in the fall, imagine the beauty in the spring after the rain!

The garden is not big, but it's nice. There is a charge for parking at the garden, but if you park down the hill it's free; you just have to walk up hil.

We visited this beautiful Japanese garden last spring. The garden was not that far from where we live. We happened to visit it on the first Tuesday of the month and got in the Garden free of charge as Saratoga residents. It's a typical Japanese garden, not huge, but simply beautiful. It's a quite place, not many visitors the day we... More

Visited the place at the beginning of February. It still looks great despite of the most trees were leafless and only couple of them bloomed. The landscape are really great, there are also couple of ponds and japanese style buildings. We spent there not more than 1.5 hours and it was enough to walk around of the all place. After... More

My sister recently married her soulmate here and it was an amazing ceremony and reception. The location had a lot to do with that... We had the beautiful Japanese garden, bridges, and waterfalls as a visually perfect love-inspired backdrop, not to mention the photo opportunities. The staff did a great job in choreographing the ceremony and setting up the reception... More

A very beautiful and peaceful hike around the park. It can take from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your desire and the route you take. Worth a visit. Need to pay for parking and tickets,

It is an okay stop to make. I wouldn't plan on being there for very long. We saw the entire place while stopping a few times to take pictures and were still out of there in about 20 minutes - after paying the $20 for the two of us to get in.

The occasion for our visit was a memorial service for an uncle. I found the gardens to be a very appropriate venue for this service. It would an equally appropriate setting for a wedding. It's a very beautifully landscaped hillside location that is strikingly peaceful and serene compared to the hustle and bustle just a short drive away. It's similar... More

Great place to unwind and walk through the bamboo gardens. Lots of time to watch the Koi in the pond.
