This well done local museum provides a fun stop for everyone on a Valley tour. A low cost admission lets you see how the Santa Ynez Valley evolved from its cowboy origins. Regularly scheduled special exhibits also update the collections. TIP: closed Mondays & Tuesdays

$5 donation per adult. Some interesting history and a great collection of old carriages in the museum. Takes about 15 minutes, are in town, help them out with a donation and take a quick self paced tour.

Few folks realize what a great museum this is. The Parks-Janeway Carriage house hosts a collection of wagons, buggies, stagecoaches and other horse drawn transportation that is the largest collection west of the Mississippi.

Great location for a wedding reception! We loved the jail and carriage museum but what we loved most was the energy from the Spink - Rogers wedding! Great place to visit if in town but a great place to PARTY for a special occasion!
