From the antique stores, clothes stores, furniture stores, thrift shops, wine bars to restaurants.......they are all great. Love spending an afternoon here.

I wandered up and down the small historic district and get into a few shopped. Most fascinating was a shop that had shelved filled with games from my childhood. A spoke with some of the local residents and found that the area was having a problem with homeless people, some being aggressive. but I never had a problem. I simply... More

We found unique postcard and pin for a railroad buff friend. Also got a souvenir Santa Rosa pencil for myself.

I arrived early for lunch so took a stroll on 4th. It's been awhile since I was last there and was surprised at the similar type of stores on the block. Furniture, thrift and antiques are plentiful. Not sure I'd want to hang out here at night but definitely during the day.

We like the Railroad Square area of Santa Rosa. i like the Hotel La Rose, coffee houses, restaurants, and boutique stores. This time we had Sunday Brunch at The Pullman Station. I also like the Peanuts Statues throughout the area. The one thing I noted however is there are a lot more homeless now in the area so just be... More

From Antique and Furniture Stores (Furniture Depot), to coffee shops, and restaurants, I've not had a bad experience here. Omelette Express will fill you up for breakfast, and several restaurants offer a nice variety of good food at decent prices, perfect spot for lunch or dinner.

This is a lovely area of old Santa Rosa. There are a few restaurants to drop into or just get a very good cup of coffee and a pastry at the shop on the north side of the square.

We mainly visited the Railroad Square looking for a place to have dinner. Enjoyed some antique shops and an interesting bead store. Only negative thing was the somewhat large homeless population nearby. I think there is a soup kitchen down the street. Would be cautious on the outskirts of the square after dark.

We love to do recycled shopping...thrift stores and deep discount retailers and this area is great for this. Several high quality thrift stores, a shoe outlet, a great athletic store and various other unique offerings. A nice area to wander through enjoying a pleasant bit of shopping.

We visited just after lunch time and found many places shut. Some only seemed to open Fridays and Saturdays and other more restricted hours within the day. Many strange (homeless?) people wandering around or sitting on the grass. The old buildings are interesting and if you hit it right I am sure some of the shops will be of interest.... More
