If you follow Siri, you will end up in a gated community. Park by the polo lots, walk to the left through the communities to get to the trail head. Then it goes straight up. Take Steve's Secret trail. It was lush and wet in...More

What a park. I grew up near Annadel and have always enjoyed the trails, the nature, the oak trees, the wild flowers, the wild animals, the views, no matter the season, no matter with whom. There are joggers, hikers, strollers, mountain bikers, horseback riders -...More

This park gets a lot of traffic so parking is challenging sometimes but once you get out there walking it doesn't seem crowded at all. There are people both running and walking and everyone is in different shape so it is not intimidating as long...More

What a beautiful park. I have hiked this park many times and each time I admire the natural beauty. Hike to the lake for a beautiful site and even bring a picnic lunch (although you will have to carry it).

Aren't dogs forbidden on 90% of the trails at Annadel because it's a state park?? If the ranger catches you on any of the trails at Annadel I believe it is a $400.00 fine. Maybe Howarth is a safer bet. Nearby Hood Mountain is dog friendly though.
