Lots of static displays of aircraft. Basically you get to walk around the airplanes. It would be nice if they could have an opportunity to get into the cockpits of the planes.

I'm not an aviation fan but my son is. He LOVED this place (lots of cool real planes to see) and the volunteers that run this (many former military retired folks) really do know what they are talking about. I was surprised by how much...More

Not necessarily the widest range of planes you'll ever see - lots of 50s & 60s jets; but you can get really close to the planes. Staff are amazingly helpful and passionate about aviation. A must see if you're in the area and a refreshing...More

The museum's offerings are far greater than expected for its location. Best to combine a visit while attending the annual not-to-be-missed air show in August. Exhibits now include one of the 9/11 jet responders.

The Pacific Coast Air Museum has a nice little collection of aircraft, but only a few have been restored, and most are looking a little dowdy. The interior has a very nice diorama depicting the airfield as it was in WWII, and some interesting memorabilia....More
