The museum's offerings are far greater than expected for its location. Best to combine a visit while attending the annual not-to-be-missed air show in August. Exhibits now include one of the 9/11 jet responders.

The Pacific Coast Air Museum has a nice little collection of aircraft, but only a few have been restored, and most are looking a little dowdy. The interior has a very nice diorama depicting the airfield as it was in WWII, and some interesting memorabilia....More

It's so interesting to see the different planes and they allow you to go into them. It's a nice area, staff are friendly. It's really a nice place to bring your children.
