Every Safari Park is a little bit different. This one is great. Although we couldn't feed or touch the animals, we saw an enormous number of different types. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the animals in general, but able to point out the newborns, etc. Take your own food and beverage, as the little cafe is less... More

We happened to visit on one of the rainiest days of the year, but still had a wonderful time. Richard, our guide, was so accommodating and informed about every aspect of the animals and the conservation aspect. There were plastic ponchos and blankets aplenty to keep us comfortable. Some of the animals wouldn't venture out in the rain so I... More

My 7.5 year-old son and I had a wonderful time with our "passionate for animals/environment" docent named Richard. The ride on top of vehicle was certainly a BUMPY adventure. We also had lunch (it was okay--too salty) The best part was staying for our own self-paced tour. We saw more animals and had opportunities to watch different animal behaviors. Recommend... More

This is a fun outing for an afternoon adventure. The jeeps make you feel like you're really on a safari and the animal are close and plentiful. We didn't stay overnight which I think would be a great idea to get the full experience.

It rained on the day we went but it was still a lot of fun! I'm sure it would have been better on a sunny day though. They have ponchos & blankets available for cold & rainy days. My 7yr old son really enjoyed the jeep ride. I thought they were accommodating when they let our group see the giraffes... More

It was a rainy day but I had no choice to book the tickets on this day being the last day of my winter vacay. Anyways it was great seeing all the animals they have that actually live in Africa. It's definitely not your typical zoo and the animals look very healthy and happy. The only suggestion or complaint I... More

This is a place you have to visit at least once. I have visited several times and each time it is an exciting adventure. Ride the top of the jeep, if possible, to experience the true flavor of an African Safari. I even had the opportunity to spend the night over Thanksgiving several years ago. It was really cool to... Tourist trap- this place is SUPER small and in order to stretch the tour as much as possible the vehicle takes frequent stops. If it wasn't for the stops that tour could be completed in only 10-15 minutes max. It was definitely a disappointment for me and the kids as we expected a REAL safari tour. The animals we were... Safari West is a great place to visit. It is expensive but worth it to me. The tour begins with a walk through an area that shows some animals that are easier to see while walking such as flamingos and other birds, and monkeys. Then you board a large Jeep-like vehicle and are driven through the countryside to see giraffes,... More
