Be careful when you park. Lots of thieves hang out in the parking lot waiting for victims. Better to get dropped off .

I can tell "back in the day" this was a beautiful hike and wonderful swimming. Not so now: my friend and I collected a full size garbage bag that was left along the trail and filled it with garbage left by previous hikers. We didn't even make a dent in the garbage left on trail. There was evidence of people... More

The hike is easy enough that most anyone can do it but hard enough that your sweating, out of breath, and oh so ready for a cool dip. The hike is beautiful as switch back and forth across the creek. And when you arrive you can jump from whatever height your fear allows! Be sure to bring a garbage to... More

A once great hike has been ruined and marred by the losers who graffiti and throw trash everywhere. It has gotten so bad that I don't feel safe running up there anymore. And the parking lot is definitely not a safe place to leave your car. You are better off leaving no valuables in the car and just leaving he... More

This is a 3h back and forth hike to a secluded waterfall dripping in a bowl of water, which is the favorite place for local heroes to jump and injure their necks and backs. Alternatively, you can dip in. The hike starts at the St. Thomas Aquinas college, which has a glorious neobaroque church, which is a destination by itself.... More

Hard hike and dangerous to jump into the pool. There have been 7 or 8 people killed in the last 30 years. Numerous people that have had to be rescued from injuries. This is for young people that are dumb enough to think nothing will happen to them.

Too bad the graffiti spoils the waterfall. The Punch Bowl hike requires scrambling over boulders and the ability to keep track of the trail along with bush wracking to reach the fall. I can only imagine the efforts that people take to haul beer a d paint cans yet do not have the courage to haul out the debris from... More

Hike up the road through Thomas Aquinas College and follow the signs to the trail. Yes, do continue through the archway that marks the ranch. Watch out for the ranch's loose dogs, they'll bark and stand in the road. We yelled at them and waved our arms and they took off. Wear appropriate shoes because there are some rock scrambles...
