We spent some time here for dinner and the next morning shopping. Lots to see and do! Cute souvenir shops, quite a few places to eat and some wildlife will keep you busy for a few hours. You can also fish if you want and I believe there are rentals available. Also a great view of the beach and Boardwalk!

A great walk! Watch the surfers, look for sea otters, lots of shops and great restaurants! The sea lions underneath the wharf are fun to watch and the scenery is wonderful. A relaxing way to spend an hour or more!

We drove all the way in the pier as we were unable to walk the whole stretch with a toddler and elderly in tow. It was a good decision. There are a few restaurants along the pier although we didn't patronize any. The view was fantastic and makes for a pleasant way to sit on one the benches to see... More

Walked up & down the wharf twice today, while staying at the Dream Inn. Great views, plenty of people watching. Lots of surfers in the area. Wharf has many signs indicating no dogs or skateboards on the sidewalks, but we saw many of both. Ate at Rivas restaurant--good fish tacos & gelato. Relaxing place to sit on a bench &... More

Great place to walk, check out shops, chill on the beach, go on a few rides, play games or just chill, the choice is yours. You definitely have to visit here if you're in the area.

The start where the beach volleyball courts are is interesting to stand and watch players however the further you walk it's full of run down buildings, homeless, skateboarders and tack amusements. We walked 15 mins and returned to our accommodation.

We spent the day down to Big Sur telling the kids they couldn't go in the water. The surf was a lot calmer here, but that may have just been the weather. Typical small beachy type restaurants on the pier with views and some shops and is all lit up at night.
