I liked the Boardwalk during the week, but the weekends are crowded. I went on a Wednesday and a Saturday, which is the most crowded day of the week. So I would recommend a week day rather than a weekend.

This really is the best boardwalk in the world. When you combine the surf, the beach, the rides, the games, the fun and the food all reasonably priced, it just doesn't get any better.

A bit pricey, but Costco had a good deal on tickets. Bring sunscreen and lots water! Overall lines were not very long and we had a great family fun day!

First time on the boardwalk in Santa Cruz California. They have everything. Large game room area with all manner of games like in Chickie Cheese only more. Carnival atmosphere. Lots of rides also like at Disney or six flags. Real locomotive and cars to ride. All the fair carnival food. No alcohol. Plenty of parking but gets very crowded. Right... More

Visited with my daughter for Mother's Day trip. It was a fun day and the boardwalk was great. There were lots of rides and good food. Great view of the beach. We had a lot of fun, would go again.

This had to be the worst place we have visited on the west coast. Everywhere is dirty, a lot of homeless and the great unwashed wandering around the place. Not dog friendly!!!

We stopped here to break up one of days on a border to border trip. My main purpose (beside a stretch time) to for a date with my husband and to ride the carousel. The carousel (for history buffs) is unique because you can grab for the elusive brass ring. Even my husband, who prefers coasters, tolerated it because it... More

The rides are very high priced and most are only open on the weekends until the warmer weather. It left me me! The food was stupid expensive too.

The Boardwalk is an experience every child and adult needs to have! You can't beat the sound and smells of the ocean coupled with salt water taffy and a corndog! There's nothing like the Boardwalk, if you are in Santa Cruz you've got to stop by and walk the Boardwalk. People watching while enjoying a fried funnel cake or cold... More
