A nice but small museum on some of the early history. Fairly informative with a great collection of surfing artifacts. Even some of the information and stories I had not heard.

Come here to watch the waves and the surfers. This is a fun Santa Cruz place. There's a beach dogpark nearby. There are often performers from musicians to hula hoopers, bubble makers, jugglers and just that awesome Santa Cruz unique vibe.

This museum is tiny, basic and without frills of any kind. But required viewing for visitors wanting to understand what makes Santa Cruz tick. Besides, it’s right on a beautiful cliff above one of the world’s pre-eminent Surf breaks. On a decent day you can...More

When in town, this place is great to go and peep in. Sadly no coffee which would be nice on winter months in CA. Yet, the view is phenomenal and the walks are great, watch the surfer and go to the beach down below (dog...More

Listed on Tripadvisor as two separate attractions, but the surfing Museum and Lighthouse are the same thing, with lighthouse history being explained inside the same building that is filled with surf memorabilia.
