Listed on Tripadvisor as two separate attractions, but the surfing Museum and Lighthouse are the same thing, with lighthouse history being explained inside the same building that is filled with surf memorabilia.

Surfing museum was nice as was the working lighthouse but the views were incredible. We were able to find sea otters, sea lions, pelicans and lots of surfers. Great picture spot.

But was unfortunately closed so we didn't see the museum. Beautiful building right by the water. Check the operation hours if interested in seeing the museum.

Heaps of information and history on local surfing, with lots of cool photos from the last 70 years. A quick stop, but well worth it for surf fans.

If you are going to do the Santa Cruz West Cliff Drive plan to check this sweet museum out. Expect parking to be an issue on the weekends.
