Shoreline Park is a lovely walk, however, starting here and doing an urban loop hike on the beach is the way to go! You can park at Shoreline, head down the stairs to the beach and walk west to 3 exit points: (1) Stairs that head to Santa Cruz Blvd aka 1000 Steps, (2) go further west and exit the... More

I studied at SBCC last year and after school I walked in the sun at Shoreline Park. It was one of the best memories for me. I highly recommend this place anyone who get some peace. :) Love Santa Barbara

We walked along the pathway, stopping often to take photos and watch the surfers. We appreciated having washrooms along the path. Very nice Santa Barbara.

Nice beach to walk along. There is grassy areas divided by concrete pathways to walk, jog, rollerblade or bike along. Very nice beach not too far from dt Santa Barbara. Some restaurants on the pier. Great views of the ocean and really pretty sunset. About 3-4 hours north of Anaheim drive on the freeway. Drive past orange vineyards in Camarillo... More

This is a very nice seaside park with a wonderful sunset view. We enjoyed checking out the Arts & Crafts show that was set up (on a Sunday) and looking at all of the work that the talented vendors had set up. There was a lot of construction going on when we were there, but we still had no problem... More

Beautiful walk along the beach and nice that there is a sidewalk for walkers/runners in each direction. Also loved the unique palms that go for quite a distance.

This is an easy to get to Santa Barbara park with great views of the Santa Barbara Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. There's plenty of parking and lots of areas for a family picnic, many with charcoal grills.

Shoreline Park has stairs with an access to a beach, and here we watched the most amazing sunset. The tide was in, so we had to wait between the waves to cross from one part to another. There were many surfers out and the view was gorgeous. The park has paved paths going all along the ocean where one can... More

Morning or evening, this is a great Santa Barbara treasure for a leisurely stroll, a quick picnic, or a quiet vie.
