History, Adventure, Science...walking through a good museum is like living in a book. The Maritime Museum is really a history of Santa Barabara with a lot of really cool items, stories, and interactive exhibits. Our kids loved it.

If you have an hour or so this is quite an interesting place to visit, though I found the film very interesting it was a little bit too long (my husband had a kip).

I love this museum. They have so many hands on exhibits for kids, plus great historical exhibits, artwork, movies. They have an activity center for kids, a movie theater and they have great events throughout the year.

I was very surprised at how much was in this place. Lots to read but also a lot of neat things to see and hands on exhibits. I would definitely go back.
