We planned a long weekend in Santa Barbara because I was participating in a band festival at Santa Barbara City College. We stayed over until Monday to visit the Reagan Ranch Center because it was only open Monday through Thursday. Had wanted to see the Reagan Ranch but it wasn't open to the public so this was the next best... More

Stopped in while visiting Santa Barbra and we really enjoyed our visit. Plan on at least a couple of hours to do this justice. Free to all, great video clips and quotes. Historical items on display. Nice people to give you info and show you around.

I just happened on this great visitor's center that has some great exhibits while driving down State Street. I probably only spent 15 minutes, but it was definitely a highlight of my visit. You could probably spend anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour here.

We dropped in to check it out. It was very interesting with good, interactive exhibits and a very nice docent. We did not have time to view all of the videos and exhibits. It was a good historical overview and it is in a convenient loctation two blocks up State Street from Stearns Wharf next to the Amtrak station. We... More

this museum was free and so was the parking. We loved the intro movie and the memorabilia. The volunteer docents were very helpful.

Nice artifacts from a bygone day, some of the paintings on the upper floor are worth visiting. You will not be allowed to wonder around unattended. A guide will be with you the whole time, which can be a bit unnerving but then again if you have a lot of questions could work in your favor.

The Reagan Ranch Center is a wonderful place to tour. It has three stories of momentoes from the Ranch and continues the Reagan history where the Reagan Library in Simi Valley leaves off. Plan plenty of time, as you can easily spend a full morning or afternoon browsing, looking, and listening.

This center shows a lot of Reagan's humanity. He was a real patriot who gave up a lot to be President.

Enjoyed the videos and stories, memorabilia, and especially their history living on the Ranch. Some thought provoking quotes of Ron and others as well as favorite scripture of Ron.
