Sterns Wharf is the main pier at the beach in Santa Barbara. This wharf was the oldest working wood wharf in California built in 1872 . It has suffered four fires and several other 'disasters' over the years but is still standing today. It's quite pleasant to walk out to the end and, of course, there are loads of restaurants... Nice place to spend some time in Santa Barbara, you get restaurants here and some nice places to have ice cream and sweets, some places can be a little expensive but you can always find good tradicional food for a reasonable price if you're on a budget

this is a sweet little pier, with parking close by and excellent views of the Channel Islands and the offshore oil platforms. It's right on the bike path, one of the best in the LA area. Highly recommend!

We had just driven from San Diego to Santa Barbara; so fancied some grub with a couple of light refreshments. Panned out well, then did some shopping for tat for all the loved ones back home. Worth a wonder too.

Lovely stroll along the pier in the sun. A few little shops and places to eat and then at the end spend quite a while just gazing out to the ocean and watching the guys fishing off the pier. Pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Very enjoyable walk on a nice day. We managed to see the sunset which was good. Heaps of places to eat and drink. Bring a jacket, it gets cold in the evening.

wasn't overly busy, which is good. The winery is a must do "deep sea", very lovely Sav blanc. The buskers were really good too!

We came to visit the Sea Center and ended up staying for lunch and visiting some of the shops. It's a bit touristy, but there is plenty of parking and the first 90 minutes are free. Much smaller than Fisherman's Wharf in SF, but it's a nice place to spend a couple of hours.
