We arrived via a cruise ship tender boat and disembarked at the Santa Barbara Harbor boat dock. You can see Stearns Wharf from the boat dock. The walk from the docks to Stearns Wharf is less than 1 mile. It’s an interesting wharf because of...More

It is so fun to be able to drive right on the wharf. Parking is free as long as you don't stay too long. Beautiful and not to be missed on a trip to Santa Barbara.

Closer to me is the Santa Cruz Pier, which is junky and not fun. This is different. Classy, interesting, with a variety of interesting offerings. It's really pretty great - don't miss it. You have a good chance to see some sea life - we...More

Beautiful Santa Barbara really has great atmosphere, even if we saw the sun a little too seldom for this time of the year. The wharf gives you a good selection of restaurants as well as great views on the great beach :-)

We stopped here on one of our walks along the coast. It was a nice walk with a nice view of the ocean but the wharf itself is not much of anything A few restaurants, a few gifts shops...that is it.

We like taking a stroll down the wharf whenever we are in town. You get the ocean feel with fishermen and sea gulls around. We often eat at Longboard's.

Rode bikes down here, decided against food as it was expensive but looked really yummy. Stopped at a gift ship to get souvenirs which was nice.

So long as you avoid the cars who crowd the place and miss the excellent walk along the wharf. Plenty of great views whichever way you look, lots of restaurants to choose from.

This is my very first visit so I couldn't say if this is the one but there was none or very few vendors at the beginning of the board walk leading up the pier

I have seen pets on the pier, but there's no place for them to do their business so you'll want to see to that first! I'm not positive the souvenir shops would allow them, but there are outdoor cafes where they could join... More
