State Street is a great little shopping area but I have to say it looked like quite a few restaurants had gone out of business recently. Hopefully it will rejuvenate and come back.

This scenic street provides many unique shops for clothing, knick knacks, and treasures. Not to mention the delicious food and dessert along the way!

Lots of fun shops and restaurants on either side of State Street. Electric shuttle runs every 15 minutes in the summer months, every 30 minutes all other times.

Just happened upon the show that closes off the Main Street. Hundred of vintage cars, a band and the beautiful Jacaranda trees. What's not to like. Loads of bars and restaurants to choose from too.

I've seen the cruise ships dock far out. They seem to shuttle the people into land. State street is just opposite Stern's wharf . You'll need to walk about 2.5 blocks till you come to businesses. I could walk it but I... More

I think that's a great idea and it lets you off right where you want to be in SB! Call or email Amtrak for schedule. From Union Station the ride is 2 hours.
