The SB Museum of Art is a relatively small but rich museum. Since it is under renovation there are few rooms open. There are few works on display, so be aware of that. I did enjoy it however and with a friend -- we spent...More

Famous artists on exhibit. Exhibition rotates about every 8 weeks. Saw works by Van Gogh, Monet, Grandma Moses, etc. Lovely way to spend a few hours. Also a very nice gift shop with unique items.

Santa Barbara's art museum is impressive for a small town. The temporary exhibits in particular are very strong. Exceptional cafe.

Great location for walking State Street, this is an important SB institution. Collections range from the traditional and the contemporary and is always a great stop on your walk. The museum shops is also nice.

It’s a good, small museum, but hardly a “must see”. Santa Barbara is a beautiful town. Your time will be better spent outdoors enjoying the sea breezes, gardens and views.

I've probably been spoiled by the Detroit Institute of Arts, but there was very little to see here. I was very surprised by the extremely small number of exhibits.

Extraordinary collection of world famous artists. Especially the Impressionists. Also has a very worth-while Asian museum and many sculptures from the Roman & Greek eras..
