Beautiful titles with wood throughout the courthouse. Great tours which last over an hour and are free. Spectacular view from the tour. This is a must see and it’s free.

I always take my out of town guest to this building. I twice played a judge in a movie shot in one of the court rooms. They have beautiful grounds too. A must see when visiting Santa Barbara.

Rumor has it that Frank Lloyd Wright said that the Santa Barbara courthouse was the ugliest building. Just because it is completely different architecture than FLW doesnt mean its ugly. The SB building is very beatiful Spanish architecture and fits very well in its surroundings...More

This historic courthouse at the center of Downtown Santa Barbara is renowned for its immaculate manicured courtyard and gardens. Almost any day you visit, you'll encounter couples getting married outside of it after getting their license inside.

The tower does have great views of the city. Take elevator up and the stairs down. Not really a lot else to see. There is a chapel or court room with wedding.

I can't remember for sure, but since it is a public building in use every day as a courthouse I am pretty sure it opens at least by 9 am.
