Sorry but nothing special about this pier if you have visited other piers along this coast. Then again, if this is the one and only pier that you will visit, it is pretty sweet. Smallish amongst the bigger sisters, it is however solid and nicely...More

This pier is basically at the site of the original pier to support Hearst Castle supplies and building materials being shipped in from all over the world. The Discovery Center is also there, as is a long sandy beach. A nice break in your day.

Parked at the restaurant down road and walked up to pier. Beach ok. Nice enough but wouldn't go out of your way for it.

It is a long walk to the end of the pier but if the whales are coming by it is worth it. People were fishing off of it if you are interested in doing that.

Took a wander out to the pier and just loved the views and crystal clear blue water. A gorgeous place to spend some time in the sun

Such a beautiful place to take in the ocean, picnic, spend the day with your loved one / family. Youngsters can safely play in the sand and at the waters edge. More adventurous and those older can kayak or body surf in the natural cove....More
