We moved here in the sixties and coyote point was just that, a point. We fished off the beach, and caught some sharks, and drank some beers around campfires at night. Needless to say, you'd be arrested for any of these activities today, but the...More

It is always such a pleasure and removal from the pressures and demands of daily life, to stroll along the path of Coyote Point Recreation Area. I turn toward the water, inhale and smile.

Fishing in some areas of the park with and without a fishing license. Two jettys are good to reach opening of bay. Be prepared for wind and dress in Layers. Live bate was the choice while one guy insisted on lures.

My grandchildren did camp there and loved it! Creative play is so important and they thrived... They also have a public park there which children love. There's plenty to do outside from the camp area.
