Great wine

I absolutely recommend even with the kids. Very beautiful place to walk around and taste your wine. You won't leave with an empty hand.

being at the edna valley winery in early december was a real treat. the vineyard was a beautiful autumn bronze, there were no tour buses and we literally had the tasting room all to ourselves. the wines were very tasty (i hadn't drunk anything from edna valley in at least 10 years) and the young lady that took us through... We were there two weeks ago and I purchased the last two bottles of 2012 Malbec. They told me that the 2013, just released was even better as judged by the brisk repeat sales. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and don't pressure you into purchasing. Having said that, their wine is wonderful and you'll want to bring some home.

Great stop for the frequent and serious wine collector and the novice as well! Amazing view as soon as you walk in... very spacious so you can freely move around and chat with your group. They provided little crunchy breadsticks with the tasting. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wonderful experience!

It is very close to San Luis Obispo, so it is worth it that if you are around drive by and make some tastings. If you go in the afternoon the light is great.

We enjoy stopping here to visit the gift shop -- great s lectionaries of specialty vinegars and some olive oils. Our favorite -- the Cabernet chocolate sauce, Yum! The front patio has a beautiful view of the Edna Valkey. Sit awhile and enjoy a glass of wine.

Fantastic tasting room, nice patio, very professional and attentive staff. Reasonably kid friendly. Be sure to check out the experimental vineyard at the parking lot where they have a dozen different grape varieties growing - you can get a sheet explaining them and the trellis methods used inside the tasting room.

The wine was pretty good here. The Reserve Chardonay was pretty spectacular, very different than we have had before and as people who don't normally drink whites much , we loved this and brought some home. The guy serving us was very nice and well informed. The view is just amazing. If you find a wine you like I would... More

We stopped at Edna Valley Vineyard as part of an Edna Valley winery tour. Jean was our pourer/attendant and she was very knowledgeable and attentive. The location and the view were amazing. Our favorite winery out of the five we visited that day. We found that by visiting central coast wineries during the “winter” we had the run of many... More
