Every Thursday night!

A lot of food stands, and cozy nice performance. You can buy fresh vegetables and fruits, too.

If anyone is ever in the area on a Thursday evening, you HAVE to come downtown and roam the streets of San Luis Obispo! Here you will find local merchants selling their fresh fruits, veggies, home made soaps, honey and much more. There are plenty of street vendors that serve amazing food and if you want a restaurant instead...there is... More

Our family of 5 spent two nights in SLO checking out the university and surrounding area. Lucky for us, it was Thursday night and the farmers market was going. Even though it was mid winter, there were lots of locally grown vegetables on display. We greatly enjoyed the Mexican food as well as the Santa Maria style BBQ. Definitely worth... More

Shutting down traffic and transforming the cozy downtown area into a unique open air market, this is a definitive community affair for SLO residents. Dozens of stalls sell everything fron farm-direct milk and cheese to fresh fruits and vegetables to classic tri-tip sandwiches and other BBQ fares. Live music and performers, games and activities for children, and more make this... More

We have been to this farmers market several times and always find the food fresh and the people friendly. You can also buy amazing tamales there made fresh daily by a local family. The market is now located off Madonna Road and Mercado Rd.

Street food and bars was fun to bounce around and talk to new people. Best bar imo was frogs and peaches. Had live bands and you can bring in street food if u get hungry.

This is a huge farmers market with great atmosphere. There are also music performers and bands. This market gets very crowded with Cal Poly students. The actual produce is high quality from local farmers. Lots of dinner vendors so make a night of it. Great entertainment for low cost. Recommended.

First thing parking..use one of the well signed parking structures. First hour free. This is predominantly a farmers market and foodie venue. The street food is fantastic and reasonable. We had a wonderful pulled pork sandwich with great coleslaw on top. Lots of fresh produce, and baked goods with some of the most reasonable prices I have seen at a... More
