At Tolosa, we are true believers in the special terroir that is Edna Valley, nestled amongst the East-West running volcanic hills of San Luis Obispo County and the frontier for the most complex cool-climate varietals in California. Our Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays reflect the cold Pacific wind that sweeps down the coast and funnels into the valley, as well as the remarkable diversity of soil types: ingredients for nuanced and balanced wines of distinctive character. We combine traditional methods such as hand punch down and whole berry uncrushed fermentations with cutting edge technology in soil exploration and vineyard mapping to handcraft exceptional Pinot noirs and Chardonnays that are the purest expressions of Edna Valley. Visit us daily 11-6pm for exclusive limited release and barrel tasting flights. Reservations recommended. Contact our concierge at 805.782.0500.

We were touring Central Coast wineries while staying in Paso Robles. We needed to drop one of our group at the airport at SLO so spent the morning touring that area. We did the normal tasting at Tolosa and decided on the spot to come back for the private tasting and cheese pairing. We had our private somm, John, who... More

Tolosa is our favorite winery in SLO. They have beautiful grounds and a gorgeous view from the tasting room. Several varieties of wine are available. You can enjoy your wine on the outdoor patio.

We enjoyed a relaxing wine tasting outside on the patio. Although the winery was busy we were not rushed. Tasting fee waived with an appropriate purchase.

Wines here are good, but totally overpriced, even for CA. It is worth stopping at just to see the pretty scenic views but the wine tasting itself is also rather expensive

We really wanted to enjoy Tolosa, but our experience fell way short of other reviewers. Shortly after we arrived we were the only customers there. John was our pourer/attendant. Unfortunately, it appeared that we arrived on “wine club pick up day”. John barely spoke to us and I don’t think he would have blinked if we blew our brains out... More

This was a nice vineyard to visit. Although the scenery is not nearly as spectacular as Daou Vineyard, it made for a very enjoyable time. The local airport is near this location, so we also got a close up look at the incoming flights. For me, that was fun, but some others might find that to be a distraction. The... More

Please note, we were totally happy with our tasting experience. Kelsey took excellent care of us from start to finish. Her knowledge and attitude were the standard that I would strive for in a staff. They even welcomed our small dog! (Dogs ok if on leash. If it's a nice day hit the patio for your tasting!) The wine selections... More

We have to say that we enjoy John as much as the wine itself. If you can get him to slow down for a minute he's remarkably well informed on French wines as well. We always make it a point to stop there when in the area. Their staff are friendly and helpful. A great experience. Wines are well priced... More

Located in a beautiful valley surrounded by dormant volcanos this is a beautiful location for tasting wines. We had a wonderful lady assisting w/our taste pours.
