Kids can pet guinea pigs, goats, and sheep. They can ride a pony or a horse and see cows, alpacas, llamas, and chickens. Zoomars sells veggies to feed some of the animals. There's a train to ride, a playground, a large hay-bale maze, tables for picnicking, and occasional gold panning activity. Zoomars is just across the train tracks from downtown... More

We had a blast here, I think we were the only folks there without children! Sat with the guinea pigs for a long time and hung out with the goat, petting them and brushing them. You must spend the extra money and get the food. The animals expect it and you do not want them to be sad.

Brought my 8 and 10 year old girls and had a great time. You can enjoy petting and holding guinea pigs, brushing goats, sheep, we pet an emu, llamas, alpacas, pigs. The animals look comfortable and well taken care of which isn't always the case with such establishments. There are pony rides, play structure, a train ride for younger kids... More

Took two little ones for their first visit to a petting zoo; they went ballistic on all of the rabbits, goats etc. The elder road the pony but the ride was absurdly short, only a hundred feet or so for $5. All in all, a very nice way to introduce young ones to animal life after so much time riding... More

What a special environment for children to experience feeding animals and interacting with them. All areas were incredibly clean and well cared for, with consideration given to seating in the largest pen which houses Guinea pigs. Yes, you must manage small children to make sure they are navigating the hoards of guinea pigs begging for vegetables, but we saw no... More

A favorite place to take the train to with the grand kids. It's just a short walk from where you get off the train. They enjoy the petting area, the pony ride and seeing some of the other animals. You do need to buy some of the food to feed the animals so bring some extra cash.. The petting animals... More

Adults seemed to enjoy it a lot too. I had a cast on my leg so I didn't go in, but my kids seemed to really enjoy it.

I've been to Zoomars several times. My little grand daughter is 20 months old and it is her favorite place on earth. It is just the right size to spend an hour two with her. Besides the animals, they have a little train ride, you can pan for gold, there is a corn crib kids can play in, a pony... More

We recently attended a two year old's birthday party here and had a blast! The place is clean, full of healthy and sweet animals and the staff were nice. My 18 month old loved the corn pit (yes, instead of balls the pit is filled with corn kernels) and the small train ride. They have pony rides (our little girl... More
