I've only seen the basilica from the outside, but I've seen photos of the interior. The outside alone is worth a visit because of the magnificent architecture. It is easy to get to with many nearby parking lots and restaurants in San Jose.

Most beautiful Cathedral I have ever seen here. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary here with a lot of other couples. Every year, The Diocese of San Jose celebrates an Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass for couples celebrating 5th (or less), 25th, 40th and 50th (or more)....More

Stunning, surprised at the stunning stained glass . The ceiling is a beautiful work of art. Would love to hear an organ concert here. Parking can be challenging as street parking limited to a short time. There are parking garages nearby. Well worth the visit.

My friend and I saw the Choral Project sign. The church is beautiful and the music and songs were fabulous. It is a great place for a concert. Chairs a little uncomfortable.

Really beautiful building both inside and out. Great place to go for a Catholic service. Amazing venue for weddings as well. There is also a gift shop on the side.

If you are into Cathedral's, this is a good place to visit. It is a beautiful church. It is still in it's original site and neat to attend a service there if you are catholic.

A delightful cathedral with a stunning ceiling and beautiful stained glass windows. Even on a cloudy day the windows are bright and beautiful! Services and concerts held in the round- a lovely place of worship.

Hello. I'll be visiting San Jose pretty soon and this Church is certainly a MUST. Is it open all day for the public? I'll love to take photos of the interiors and exterior during the day and at night. Any ideas on permits or what I need to do without having any issues. Many thanks, Dami

I visited the church in the morning around 8 am during the weekdays and they have no services so was able to walk about freely. It is wise to check the church website for mass schedule to avoid the crowd. FYI there is... More
