The house is quirky and weird for sure, much like Sarah herself from all reports. Amazing contrast though from surrounding streets firmly in the 21st century, as you are transported back to another time.

Over-rated, over-priced. Great example of a mediocre site hyped up by a "mystery" in an effort to sell admissions. Alleged paranormal activity takes presidence on the crowded tour over the mildly interesting design and architecture.

in my opinion, check groupon and google for coupons before you make your choice.
Can you arrive on the day and get a tour or should you peer book your tickets?

You can get the tour the same day. We had a lay over when flying out of San Jose and just went over.
