This is a large park with some steep hiking trails that is a microcosm of early California, as one of the biggest early industries, it helped accelerate the gold rush

Almaden Quicksilver offers alot of nice hiking and good trail running options if you live in the south bay area. Bring a hat, most of the trails do not offer much shade, also keep in mind that many places in this park lose cell service,...More
