Schweiger Vineyardscwas a wonderful experience. The owner actually sat down with us at one point during the tasting. He actually is an older gentleman who works his own vineyard because it is truly his love. I enjoyed all of the wines we tasted. I do not ever drink Chenin Blanc but it was amazing!! Do not miss this quaint vineyard.

Good wine, pleasant experience. Good stories about the family history. No tour or anything of the like, but still very personal and worth the trip up the mountain.

We'd never heard of Schweiger but our driver recommended it as part of our trip up the mountain to visit Pride. The property is beautiful and the tasting room was pleasantly full. It has a counter, a couch area and a table for 6 inside, as well as two high top tables out on a small balcony. These are prime... More

This well kept secret is off the beaten path but well worth the effort. The wine stomp and tour is unique and one of the best experiences we had in Napa(October harvest time only). The wine is second only to the family that makes it. The personal touch makes the travel worthwhile...we came back from Florida and will always cherish... More

Even on a foggy, drizzly weather day, the drive up the mountain and view from the winery is very nice. Food is not readily available but picnic facility available.

We absolutely loved Schweiger Vineyards. The view from up on Spring Mountain was amazing and the setting was gorgeous, not to mention the wines. We found them to be "drink now" wines that don't really require much, if any ageing in the bottle and they were very reasonably priced. Our tasting host was wonderful, she explained the wines, but left... More

Had the opportunity to do the grape stomping in late September and it was a highlight of the trip. Fred, Sally and Andy Schweiger were all down to earth and great hosts/hostess. Lunch was excellent and the wines are of great quality. Fantastic experience, in part due to the family themselves. Joined the club and had several bottles shipped home.

Step off the highway 29 path in order to have a fantastic experience at Schweiger. You'll be well attended to at your desired pace. If you can flag down the owner or wine maker (they'll be working!) they will be happy to come chat for a bit. Just a great welcoming staff and worthwhile wines.

Outstanding!!!! Through suggestions from friends we went here and it was easily the best of the day. Great location and friendly/welcoming environment. Even the owner, who was working (Fred) took time out to come meet us. Wines we tasted were great.

This was our first visit to this winery so we didn't know what to expect. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner, Fred who is in his 80's and is as friendly as can be. We sat down at a private table with a great view and got to taste about 7 different wines. The woman that poured the... More
