This town is worth the visit. The store fronts are like they were in the good old days except the street is paved. Many old shops like in the days of yore.

This looks like it’s a beautiful old Western heritage, gold mine celebrating area of town. However, I was afraid to get out of my car due to the number of homeless people that are there. Maybe I’m just from another part of the country where...More

Blocks of old-style buildings, full of various shops, museums, and tourist-style fun. Things aren't cheap, and the sidewalks - boards many of them - can be treacherous. But Evangeline's the Candy Factory, and numerous bars are sure-fire winners.

It's lovely to go back in time and see how well they have preserved the area. Lots of nice gift shops, cafes and restaurants . You can take a horse and cart ride around. A good visit

Good place to take out of town visitors and close to other sights in town. Carriage ride through Old Sac is fun too.

Shopping and eating choices for all ages. Public parking garage available as well as within the shop/eating area. Lots of souvenir places to shop as well as speciality shops like Christmas ornaments or crazy socks. Enjoyed the riverside area and the bridge. Very enjoyable afternoon.

We walked up and down the old streets, ate some ice cream, and enjoyed the store fronts. Lots of touristy stuff for sale.

I like Firehouse for the seafood, but I guess it depends on what style you want. For a good pub-burger go to O’Malleys Irish pub.
