Overview
More
Grgich Hills Estate is an iconic Napa Valley winery, consistently producing world-class wines. Vintner Hall of Fame inductee Miljenko "Mike" Grgich first earned world-wide recognition when the Chardonnay he crafted won the 1976 Paris Tasting, beating the best of France. Mike then partnered with Austin Hills to open their family-owned-and-operated winery in 1977. Committed to natural winegrowing and sustainability, we farm our five estate vineyards without artificial fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, rely on wild yeast fermentation and use our passion and art to handcraft food-friendly, balanced and elegant wines.

This was our last stop in Napa, and what a fun way to end that part of our vacation! As you will note in their website, $25.00 gets you a T-shirt with your grape-stained footprints on it, a glass of very delicious Grgich wine --...More

The 6 of us were so excited to do the grape stomping...and what an underwhelming experience it was. For $35 you get a free t shirt (except they are out of all sizes except large and extra large), a "glass" of wine (a plastic cup...More

We stopped in to this winery for a walk in tasting between scheduled tastings. Impressive wines and a wonderful history. This is well worth a stop if you enjoy high quality whites and reds.

We went back to visit Grgich Hills winery. Linda poured for us again, and she was just as friendly and knowledgeable as at our last visit. Grgich is, of course, famous for their Chardonnay, but we really love their cabs. I unabashedly love rosé. After...More

Easily the most cookie cutter factory in the valley. Freezing inside. The staff treated is like cargo so we left before any tasting.

This is just standing in grape juice that 50 other people have already sloshed through as 50 more stand in line waiting for you to finish. They don't add more and you can't tell if you actually stomp any more or just swirl the already...More

We stayed there a little over an hour. Tasting the wines and learning of Mike Grgich history in Bottle Shock ( beating all French wines in blind taste test 20+ years ago !) Hope you enjoy!

Sorry but we are not allowed to sell food as part of our permit. We do offer wine and cheese pairings as part of an educational seminar. Call us at the winery @707-963-2784 for more details.
