Not safe to visit terrible place with negligence of the staff dont go to the water unless you want to die they’re not going to help you if you hurt or die there lake are not safe.More

Lake Hemet was a great winter getaway. It was very peaceful and beautiful. We stayed Thurs-Sat so we just missed the weekend rush. We stayed in Squirrel Camp and we could have not asked for a better place to camp. Beautiful view of the lake...More

relaxing, beautiful nature, trees, trails, and clean lake. Have been there for day picnicking and outdoor activities. Nice place to get away from the city and noise. BBQ grills available and picnic tables. Sometimes it gets windy and chilly on evenings. bring light sweater.

Yes just recently it has been approved by the water district to allow not only sit on but sit in kayaks, however you will need to be inspected at the lake for quagga free certification.
