The Craneway, a former Ford motor plant, and jeep manufacturer during WWII, has become an event center used for varied purposes-fairs, sporting events, music, dancing, political, etc. It has huge ceilings and walls of glass. It is situated on the Richmond Harbor, with beautiful views of the bay, and bridges. You can walk on the Bay Trail, which goes all... More

Parking is less than optimal, but the space is wide open, well lit and spacious. Great for a home show or others of that ilk.

I can't believe this is our very first time to the Craneway Pavilion! This place is located at the bay and therefore has amazing views, and the San Francisco trail is kind of starting here! We met some friends for the T-Rex Dinosaur exhibit, and it was a nice experience, and this place is pretty big, with amazing windows, but... More

The Lawrence Hall of Science was so much better with a similar exhibit. It was overcrowded, over priced, dirty and no attention to detail. Low quality, high price. Go to the park. The venue itself is great.

While in San Francisco on a trip with my main carrier, we had an dinner at the Craneway Pavilion. There was more than enough room for the 600 of us.

This is a great place for almost any type of event. The building and location are stunning! It's the old ford assembly plant with high ceilings, walls of glass and views of San francisco. For some events they even run a small ferry from SF. Definitely worth a visit!!

We went to the Craneway Pavilion on July 3 to hear the Oakland East Bay Symphony and see the 4th of July eve fireworks launched over the water. Well worth it. The event is advertised as free, but to park within half a mile of the event, you have to pay $20. A bit deceptive for an event advertised as... More

Great music and just right fireworks, this free event is one I haven't missed for 4 years now. The venue is beautiful and the diverse crowd provides great people watching. There are lots of other wonderful events at this location throughout the year!

In our many visits to the Rosie the Riveter National Park visitors center in next door building we always stick our heads into the Craneway to see what they are setting up for next: weddings, roller derby, environmental fair, garden show. It is a great space facing SF Bay with lots of light from windows because it was a working... More
